City opens 2026 CDBG applications, schedules workshop and hearings

Staff encouraged nonprofit representatives to attend the workshop and noted that completed CDBG applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on 01/30/2026.
Eligible projects listed in the announcement include public infrastructure improvements, housing rehabilitation, community facilities and social services that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income residents. Staff also announced two public hearings—02/10/2026 at 6 p.m. and 02/12/2026 at 6 p.m.—and said applicants are required to attend at least one hearing to respond to application questions.
Staff directed interested organizations to obtain applications from the Office of Community Development or the city website and offered contact information for further assistance.
