Clerk‑Treasurer Alana Paumen reported at the Oct. 1 Silver Creek Township meeting that preliminary audit information has been entered into the CaseWare portal and a box of supporting documents was delivered to the CPA; field work is scheduled for Nov. 12–15.
Paumen said proposed levy certification forms were submitted reflecting a 3% increase for both township funds, consistent with the approval at the annual meeting. She also reported that election judges have been scheduled, including five new judges, and that equipment will be picked up and tested imminently.
The Board received an August recycling report and a notice of a rate increase from CenterPoint Energy; no formal board action was recorded on those items during the meeting.
Next steps: staff will proceed with the audit timetable and complete pre-election equipment testing and preparations as scheduled.
