Silver Creek board approves minutes, claims and election judges; extends hiring ad for one week if needed

Supervisor Brandon Geyen moved to approve the July 9, 2024 board minutes; Supervisor Sandy Forsman seconded and the motion carried. The board also approved the list of claims and disbursements and audited claims were recorded (check numbers and amounts listed in the minutes). Chairman Chris Newman moved to approve the Clerk/Treasurer report listing balances for June 30, 2024; Supervisor Brandon Geyen seconded and the motion carried 4-0.
On staffing, Chairman Chris Newman moved to await responses to the current hiring advertisement and, if needed, place an additional ad for one more week at a cost not to exceed $200; Vice Chairman Mike Helman seconded and the motion carried 4-0. Supervisor Sandy Forsman moved to approve the list of election judges on the condition that each had been asked and agreed to work; Vice Chairman Mike Helman seconded and the motion carried 4-0.
The board adjourned at 8:43 p.m.
