Commission approves private street names for The Townes at Thompson Creek

Senior Planner Josh Cole presented the names — Onyx Drive, Topaz Lane, Zircon Drive, Garnet Drive and Amethyst Lane — and said they had been vetted and approved by emergency services. Staff recommended approval and the commission voted 7-0 in favor after a motion by Commissioner Ventrus Norfolk and a second by Councilmember Robert (Bob) Garrett.
The approval applies to private drives within the proposed multi-family development located directly south of the Universal at Thompson Creek apartment complex; final site plans and construction will be subject to the city's development review process.
