Stockbridge council appoints Mario Conant to downtown authority and authorizes talks with village manager candidate

The council recorded ayes from Fairbotham, Morehouse, Good, Howlett, Cattell and Ogden; Powers-Taylor was absent. The motion passed and Conant was appointed as a director of the SDDA.
The council then interviewed village manager candidate Jeff Raymaker. The board recorded a motion authorizing the Village’s Executive Committee to commence negotiations with Mr. Raymaker and to serve as the designated negotiating team to finalize terms for an offer of employment, subject to approval by the full village board; the motion was supported by Councilmember Cattell. Roll call again showed ayes from Fairbotham, Morehouse, Good, Howlett, Cattell and Ogden and Powers-Taylor absent. The motion passed, authorizing the Executive Committee to begin contract negotiations.
There were no public comments recorded at either public comment period. President Ogden moved to adjourn, Councilmember Cattell supported the motion, and the meeting adjourned at 8:09 p.m. The minutes are signed by Heather R. Armstrong, Village Clerk.
