Staff recommended a professional services task order in the amount of $177,135 to prepare plans and specifications and oversee the engineering work.
An agency official summarized monitoring results that showed substantial inflow and infiltration in the relevant lines after heavy rain, and said relining would repair structural defects and help the system perform better, although it would not eliminate all high-water events.
A board member moved to approve the task order; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Staff said they will work out reimbursement mechanics with the clerk’s office and return with details of the agreement and any schedule for future disbursement requests.
