Board accepts trustee Pat Cox's resignation and approves multiple personnel recommendations, including two new administrators

The Anderson School District 1 Board accepted the resignation of trustee Pat Cox at the March 25 meeting. Mr. Wilson moved to accept the resignation; a second was recorded and the vote to accept was unanimous. The board noted Mrs. Cox had been ill.

After executive session, Miss Brady presented personnel recommendations to strengthen the district's administrative and instructional teams. The board approved appointments that included Braden Wilson and Jay Bagwell to administrative roles, as well as several teacher hires and transfers. Braden Wilson introduced himself earlier in the meeting as a new assistant principal with eight years in Anderson District 1 and 11 years of teaching experience. Jay Bagwell described his administrative background and said he was returning to Anderson.
