City Planner Brett Morgan told the commission the sign is “basically a 3 x 4 sign; it is right at 12 square feet,” which he said is within the allowable square footage for the site. Applicant Tyler Vendrek confirmed the design is the company’s trademark, saying, “yes sir, it is the trademark.”
Staff recommended approval after the applicant filed a formal application following an earlier discussion. Mayor Henry Coats moved to approve the wall sign as submitted; Vice‑Mayor Mike Binkley seconded. The motion received all affirmative votes from the commissioners present.
The applicant said there are no plans at this time for a separate monument sign; Morgan noted the city will explore a shared monument sign for businesses on that street in the future, which would require an easement.
The commission took no additional conditions on the approval and moved on to other business. The meeting adjourned at 6:19 p.m.
