Piperton Industrial Development Board approves minutes, reappoints officers for 2026

The City of Piperton Industrial Development Board unanimously approved the meeting agenda and the minutes of Aug. 26, 2025 at its Feb. 24, 2026 annual meeting. Chairman Mark Jenkins called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Chairman Jenkins noted that the meeting scheduled for Dec. 2, 2025 was not held because a quorum was not present. The board then moved to officer elections: Jenkins will continue as chairman, Jack Murphy will continue as vice‑chair, and Jeff Maddock was elected secretary. Duties for keeping minutes will be handled by a committee, with several members volunteering to share those responsibilities.
The board adjourned at 6:05 p.m. The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
