At the Dec. 17 Palmer School Committee meeting, Mrs. Dubuc presented a Student Services update that included federal and state laws and regulations, staff structure, a district snapshot, current projects and the results of a DESE Integrated Monitoring Review.
Mrs. Dubuc reported the DESE review findings as follows: 31 audited indicators showed 100% compliance for the 2021–22 review period, and 11 audited indicators showed 100% compliance for 2024–25. The presentation also included a State of the Schools overview for OMP, listing building identity, celebrations and initiatives.
Ms. Sandra Noonan asked a follow-up question about preschool counts compared with last year; Mrs. Riopel agreed to provide the requested figures after the meeting. Superintendent Matthew Francis noted the State of the Schools material and introduced the OMP presentation content.
The Student Services presentation was recorded in the minutes without a subsequent formal action; committee members thanked presenters during member reports.
