The Palmer School Committee reorganized its leadership and committee assignments at a regular meeting on Aug. 20, 2025, in the high school library, nominating Bonny Rathbone as chair and Sandra Noonan as vice chair.
Mr. Anthony Braden moved and Mr. Matthew Lovell seconded the nomination of Ms. Bonny Rathbone as chair; the motion was approved by voice vote with committee members indicating 'All in favor.' Mr. Braden then moved and Mr. Lovell seconded the nomination of Ms. Sandra Noonan as vice chair; that motion similarly passed with 'All in favor.'
The committee also set its standing committee memberships: Ms. Noonan and Mr. Braden to the Policy Committee; Mr. Lovell and Mr. Joseph Nompleggi to the Budget/Finance Committee; and Mr. Braden and Mr. Nompleggi to the Athletics Committee. The assignments were announced during the reorganization portion of the meeting and carried without recorded opposition.
The reorganization marked the start of the district’s regular meeting agenda, which began at 6:00 p.m., called to order by Superintendent Matthew Francis.
