"Maybe the town council allocates us a few thousand dollars a year to take care of those kind of small issues," a member said, suggesting a working threshold (for example, $3,000–$5,000) for petty maintenance purchases.
Members brainstormed possible capital items (a dock/platform at the lake, shelters or picnic areas) and agreed to collect quotes and renderings for January follow‑up. The operations subcommittee will draft the mowing/bush‑hog RFP and return to the board in January with recommended frequency, scope and cost estimates.
