The Arcadia Lakes Town Council approved the July 11, 2024 meeting minutes with corrections during its Aug. 1 meeting. Council Member Jim Cullen made the motion; Council Member Janet Holland seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Town Clerk/Treasurer Elizabeth S. Krajewski reported that the town-lot landscaping project is scheduled to begin the first of September and that there is currently no update on the Beautification initiative. Krajewski also reported the town’s legal review of the ordinance and intergovernmental agreement related to storm-water management is ongoing with no new developments recorded in the minutes. She reminded council members that the Small Cities Summit is scheduled for Aug. 22.
The meeting concluded after new-business items, including a presentation by the Decker Collective Initiative and the first reading of Ordinance No. 2024-004.
Motions recorded in the minutes were carried unanimously; the minutes do not list roll-call vote counts beyond noting unanimous carry.
