Needham Historical Commission seeks volunteer to fill Community Preservation Committee seat after Marshall's departure

"When we pay our real estate tax bills, I think 2% of our taxes go into a fund for the CPC," he said, and cited recent funded projects such as renovations of Town Hall and the Emery Grover building.
Members discussed the time commitment of CPC service, typical meeting schedules (often Wednesday evenings with heavier work in January–February), and the need for someone from the Historical Commission to serve as liaison. Several people said they would consider serving and one member offered to take the seat on an interim basis while the commission identifies a permanent replacement. No formal appointment was made at the meeting.
