Needham NCAC elects Sheila as treasurer and names co‑secretaries; Abby Bernstein stays chair

Sheila accepted a nomination for treasurer and was approved by roll-call vote to assume the position for fiscal year 2027. The council adopted a co‑secretary approach: Wendy Siegel and Shona were nominated and approved as co‑secretaries with alternating responsibilities for minutes. Abby Bernstein accepted nomination and was re‑elected chair by roll call.
The chair described the co‑secretary experiment as alternating responsibilities every other month and said she will continue to manage agendas and communications. Members thanked outgoing members Joni and Heather for their service and discussed transitions and mentoring for the incoming treasurer.
All nominations passed by roll call with a quorum present.
