Union Township presents draft regionalization study timeline; joint public meeting set for Sept. 5

Superintendent Dr. Nicholas Diaz said Union Township, in collaboration with Franklin and Bethlehem townships, submitted a School Regionalization Efficiency Program grant in June 2022 and was awarded $120,000 in July 2023. A law firm, Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, was selected by RFP to conduct the study. The board heard that a draft of the study would be presented in executive session that evening and that a joint public meeting with Porzio and district staff is scheduled for Sept. 5, 2024, at Franklin Township School, where a public Q&A will be included.
