Both ordinances had been introduced at the committee's Aug. 21 meeting and were opened for public hearing before the committee adopted them by roll-call vote.
A committee member asked whether the two ordinances used the same pool of money, noting the combined totals, and a member clarified that the ordinances cover separate years. The committee moved and voted to adopt each ordinance during the meeting.
The ordinances were adopted by roll call; the clerk recorded affirmative votes for the motions. The measures become part of the township's capital plan and will be implemented according to the appropriation schedules already discussed at prior meetings.
