The Wallkill Valley Regional High School Board of Education on Dec. 17 approved several routine financial items, including a manifest of bills totaling $1,435,832.53 and budget transfers of $150,996.32 for Nov. 26–Dec. 13, 2024.
The Board accepted the Board Secretary’s and Treasurer’s reports showing a cash balance of $2,299,496.27 as of Nov. 30, 2024 and certified compliance under N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(c)(3) and (4) that no line-item accounts were over-encumbered or over-expendited to the Board’s knowledge. The financial certification motion passed on a roll-call vote (mover Ralph Bonard, seconder Thomas Kabatra).
Board members approved the items by recorded vote and placed the regular register on file in the Office of the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary. The approvals were part of the meeting’s consent motions; Suzanne Testino is recorded as abstaining on the minutes motion earlier in the meeting.
