Lebanon committee discusses $750,000 HUD road grant and approves IT backup subscription

Committee members and the township engineer reviewed a proposed list of roads and said Warren (DPW) can fit his prioritized list into the grant budget; soft costs including environmental studies can be included in the grant and township capital funds may be used to cover possible overages. The committee said the grant must be accepted by Aug. 2026 and expended by Sept. 2031.
Separately, the committee approved an IT backup and disaster recovery subscription through the township’s managed service provider. The contract described a one‑time professional services start fee of $350 and a recurring Datto endpoint backup subscription at $200 per month (annualized at $2,400). Committee members required the service be documented in writing and noted the ongoing annual budget implication.
Committee members said the IT upgrade will improve retention and disaster recovery and aid the police department as well; members approved the purchase by roll call.
