At the March 18 meeting Board Member Thomas Kabatra asked whether the board could install an electric generating plant on district property. Superintendent David Carr and other board members discussed the idea and its possibilities; the discussion was exploratory and produced no motion or vote.
Following executive session the board approved personnel Item 1 to appoint extracurricular staff for the 2024–25 school year contingent on the activity running; stipends would be prorated if the season or activity were curtailed by declared emergencies. The minutes list Cassidy Jameson in connection with the Science National Honor Society appointment.
In the meeting addendum the board approved Child Study Team placements for student #2425023 to the Morris‑Union Jointure Commission (tuition $10,487.50) and associated teacher assistant cost ($7,644.60), purchase of networking equipment from CDW ($27,448.00), and building use for the Wallkill Valley Thunder Recreation Softball League (March 19–June 30, 2025). The board also approved multiple professional development and travel requests for staff and coaches, with specific expense amounts recorded in the board paperwork.
All personnel and addendum actions were approved by unanimous roll call where votes are recorded; the minutes state executive session topics were personnel, student personnel and negotiations and that executive session minutes remain confidential until privilege no longer applies.
