WALDWICK, N.J. — The Waldwick Board of Education spotlighted the district’s 15th annual heart screening program during its regular meeting on Feb. 24, 2025, and presented a plaque recognizing Principal Kevin Carroll’s role in the program.
Superintendent Dr. Paul Casarico introduced the screening program, noting it is held in honor of Sean Fischer, and turned the presentation over to Principal Kevin Carroll for further details. After the presentation, Dr. Casarico presented a plaque to Carroll on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Fischer. Waldwick Mayor Giordano joined the board in recognizing Carroll’s work on the screening effort.
The board’s remarks placed the screening program in the context of ongoing student health initiatives; the district did not provide additional program details, such as participant counts or follow-up protocols, in the meeting record.
