At its March 18 meeting the Wallkill Valley Regional High School Board approved several finance and procurement items that the finance committee had recommended.
The board voted unanimously to renew a contract with J&B Therapy for the 2025–26 school year to provide occupational, physical and speech therapy at listed hourly and evaluation rates and to accept a student placement from High Point Regional Board of Education (student #2425022) at a stated cost of $20,169. The board also approved a Child Study Team placement in an addendum for student #2425023 to attend the Morris‑Union Jointure Commission program (tuition $10,487.50) and associated teacher assistant cost ($7,644.60).
The board approved procurement actions including entering into a contract with CDW for networking equipment at a total cost of $27,448.00 and approved a conditional contract with Brightspeed for internet services pending attorney approval; the Brightspeed contract would run July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026.
The board also approved creation of a SAT Prep Program with a fee of $475 per student and approved various joint transportation and cafeteria reconciliation items presented by the finance committee. All finance committee items were approved by unanimous roll call (motion Carlson/Jones).
The approvals include specific contract rates and tuition costs listed in board documents; board members did not add or modify monetary figures in the meeting.
