Warren Hills advances grading regulation read, approves NJSIAA enrollment and field trips

Chair Alfred Coscia moved, with a second from Corey Piasecki, to approve a first read of Regulation 2624 (Grading System) and a second read of policy #4432.2 (Donated Sick Leave Bank). The board also approved district enrollment and participation in the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) for the 2024–25 school year and approved field-trip requests (including travel to Oakwood Lanes for ESY programs, MetLife Stadium for football, Warren County Farmers Fair for FFA, and Triplebrook Campground for an FFA officer retreat).
Committee discussion earlier in July had included proposed changes to grading and a revised finals schedule (moving to Semester 1 and Semester 2 exams), a new evaluation model and bell-schedule topics. The motions were recorded as approved on roll-call vote.
The approvals clear the way for athletic governance under NJSIAA rules and authorize the listed field trips for the coming year.
