Warren Hills board approves teacher hires, coaches and summer staff

The board approved the superintendent’s recommendations by motion of Jean Hansen, seconded by Amy Kemp. Notable approvals included hiring Nadine Ciasulli as a mathematics teacher at a listed salary of $83,543 (effective 8/20/24 through 6/30/25), Brian Johnson as a custodian ($36,483 prorated), and several coaching appointments (for example, Elise Tooker as head girls cross-country; Geri Cramer as head boys bowling). The board also approved substitute and event security appointments and summer peer-leadership training stipends.
The motion record shows several approvals are contingent on “receipt of all required paperwork.” The board also accepted resignations and retirements, including the resignation of McKenzie Laubach (teacher, effective 7/12/24) and resignations from coach Michael Howey; an earlier retirement for Teresa Fahy was amended to deferred retirement.
