The Reinbeck City Council adopted three ordinances on April 6 addressing parking limits, parking fines and mobile food vendors.
Ordinance #2026-04OR establishes a 20-minute parking limit at 423 Main Street and Ordinance #2026-05OR increases parking violation fines to $50. The council gave first consideration to both ordinances, then suspended the statutory rule requiring two meetings and adopted both ordinances by roll-call vote (Wambold, Pease, Johnson, Trepp and Bueghly voting aye).
Council also introduced and adopted Ordinance #2026-03OR to add Chapter 124 (Mobile Food Service Vendors). That ordinance was given second consideration and adopted after a motion to suspend the two-meeting rule; roll-call votes were recorded as all aye. The minutes do not record any public opposition to these ordinances.
