At the July 8 meeting Chair Joe Hobelman updated trustees on a Zoom review of the Linda’s Retirement preliminary plat by Miller & Associates.
Hobelman said Craig Bennet of Miller & Associates will submit a final letter to the developer noting items that need attention before the plat can proceed to the planning commission. According to the update, the Linda’s Retirement developers told the board they would not pursue annexation if the subdivision cannot be revised to meet review requirements; they plan to resubmit zoning requests after receiving the consultant’s review.
The board did not take formal action on the plat at the meeting; Hobelman’s update served to record the consultant’s forthcoming written findings and the developer’s stated next steps.
