At its Sept. 16 meeting the Tabernacle Township Board of Education approved a second reading and adoption of a group of policy and regulation updates affecting governance, curriculum, student health and safety, and volunteer athletics.
The items approved on second reading include P0141 (Board Member Number and Term), P2200 (Curriculum Content), P&R 3160/4160 (Physical Examination), R5200 (Attendance), P5337 (Service Animals), P5350 (Student Suicide Prevention), P8420 (Emergency and Crisis Situations), P&R 8467 (Firearms and Weapons), and P9181 (Volunteer Athletic Coaches and Co-Curricular Activity Advisors/Assistants). The motion was made by Dean Dodaro and seconded by Steven Mosser and recorded as approved by roll-call vote.
