The Tabernacle Township Board of Education approved a package of operational items at its Oct. 21 meeting including the Uniform State Memorandum of Agreement Between Education and Law Enforcement Officials (MOA) and a related Memorandum of Understanding for the 2024–25 academic year (Board Resolution 25-006).
The board also approved the 2024–25 Nursing Services Plan, adopted Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching as the evaluation tool for certificated staff, accepted a $2,800 donation from Jason Vico of Fett-Vico AIA Architects PC to support field trips, approved the 2024–25 Comprehensive Maintenance Plan and M1 for submission to the Burlington County NJDOE office, and approved school bus evacuation drill dates for OMS (Oct. 10) and TES (Oct. 17–18).
Administrators also moved and approved a $48,658 contract with Burlington County Special Services School District for a one-to-one assistant for a student, and approved the 2025–26 Three-year Preschool Program Plan and Annual Update (MS Form Survey, SOA, District Contact Chart) and projected preschool enrollment.
Field trips and facilities use requests from community groups (Tabernacle Athletic Association and Girl Scouts) were accepted with dates and fee classifications noted in the minutes. The board’s routine financial reports, cash-flow items, check runs and payrolls for September and October were reviewed and approved as recorded in the minutes.
