Tabernacle board adopts revised $15.13M budget, authorizes $234,245 levy increase

The Tabernacle Township Board of Education adopted a revised 2024–2025 budget totaling $15,130,805 at its July 8 meeting.

The budget package, approved by motion from Mr. Dean Dodaro and seconded by Mr. Jonathan Grubb and approved by roll call, lists anticipated revenues of $5,202,569 and taxes to be raised of $9,928,236. The resolution authorizes use of a $107,057 health-care adjustment, a $95,000 transfer from the district’s Maintenance Reserve to the general fund for required maintenance, and the use of the Stabilized School Budget Aid Grant in the amount of $126,200. The board also authorized an additional $234,245 in the 2024–2025 tax levy as allowed by that grant.
