Spring Lake Heights council approves bond introduction, contract awards and multiple resolutions

• Adoption of the Monmouth County Multi‑Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan 2026 and other consent items, including a September 11 day of remembrance and appointment confirmations for school crossing guards (Resolutions R2025‑151 to R2025‑154).
• Approval of bills lists for July 31, Aug. 15 and Aug. 29, 2025 (Resolutions R2025‑159, R2025‑160, R2025‑161).
All listed motions passed with an aye vote from Mr. Capristo, Mr. Casagrande, Mrs. Degnan‑Spang, Mr. Graetz and Mrs. King; no nays or abstentions were recorded among members present. Councilman Christopher Willms was absent.
What it means: The change order for sewer lining increases the municipal contract total for that project and the park contract advances planned improvements at Joseph E. Robertson Park.
