During its Feb. 18, 2025 meeting the Stone Harbor Mayor and Council approved a dock permit application for Channel Marine Construction Inc., 10623 Golden Gate Drive. Lauren Plasket appeared on behalf of the applicant and was sworn in by Borough Solicitor Anthony Bocchi. No members of the public spoke for or against the permit; the council voted to approve the application unanimously.
On the consent agenda the council adopted several resolutions, including a raffle license for the American Legion, special-event approvals, Change Order No. 4 for FY2022 I-Bank water-main and Third Avenue sanitary-sewer improvements, and a resolution to award a professional-services contract for an affordable-housing planner to Jennifer Heller of Polistina & Associates LLC. The council also adopted a temporary budget amendment and hiring and performance evaluation policies, and authorized payment of payrolls and bills. The consent agenda was adopted by roll call vote with all members voting yes.
Council added Resolution 2025-S-71 to the regular agenda and voted to award a professional-services contract for human-resources consulting to Charles Schlager Jr. LLC. The motion to add and to adopt that resolution were both approved unanimously.
No public objections to the permits or contracts were recorded in the meeting minutes.
