The South Plainfield Mayor and Council approved a consent package of resolutions (listed on the agenda as Resolutions 25-351 through 25-362) during Monday’s meeting and recorded affirmative roll-call votes from the members present.
Items included five matters of correspondence — among them the monthly health advisory board report, a retirement notice from Len Miller in public works and a retirement from Dominic Domo in construction — and the payment of bills that was on the agenda (the amount in the audio transcript appears garbled and is recorded as presented on the agenda but not legible in the meeting audio).
Council members also discussed scheduling for December meetings because Thanksgiving falls late this year; members asked staff to advertise any date changes and noted various conflicts for Dec. 1, Dec. 8 and Dec. 22.
Finally, the council voted to enter executive session to discuss three items (contract, personnel and litigation) and indicated no public action was anticipated upon return.
