Board member Cody volunteered and was named the district delegate; the board requested a report back after the association meeting. In finance matters, the board reviewed the general fund and activity-budget reports and praised a redesigned athletics funding report for clarity. The chair noted that designated funds remain in place and that the activity budget’s ending figures match deposit records.
On facilities, the board received an update on softball-field work: equipment and landscaping crews are on site, clay infield material has been ordered, and Toren Lighting informed the district that lighting work is estimated to begin in about three weeks. Board members acknowledged hurricane-related setbacks but said projects remain on track.
A motion to adjourn was made, seconded and carried by voice vote.
