City Administrator and Special Counsel Dan Madsen told the Deephaven Park Committee that the City had awarded a contract to resurface the Village Hall tennis courts and that work is scheduled to begin in late September.
Madsen said the resurfacing work is expected to be completed by the end of the year, while installation of fencing around the courts is planned as a Spring 2026 project. The update was provided for information only; the committee took no formal action at the meeting.
Committee members discussed timing and logistics but deferred to staff and the contract schedule for execution. The resurfacing is part of the City’s ongoing capital improvement projects for park facilities and was included in the draft CIP discussed later in the meeting.
