Eunice officials discuss bulky‑trash pickup plan; local holding site proposed pending DEQ approval

The proposal aims to increase the volume of bulky trash picked up in Eunice on a given day.
Major Mark LeBlanc of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office Crime Stoppers Department said Crime Stoppers will advertise rewards for reports of illegal dumping under the state statutes he described. No formal action was recorded on the holding‑site proposal at this meeting.
