Village Manager says Council is preparing public‑safety ballot options ahead of November election

Village Manager Wolff reported to the Planning Commission that the Village Council is working to gather information to craft a ballot proposal to fund public‑safety services targeted for the November election. Wolff said the Council plans to present several options to the community and hold feedback sessions in May, June and July before submitting final ballot language.
Wolff also noted that four Village Council seats will be on this year’s ballot and that Councilmember Peavey has publicly stated he does not plan to seek re‑election. The manager reported there has been no zoning permit activity so far this calendar year.
