Council approves amended 3rd Avenue closure for Pow Wow on June 22–23

The Mountain Lake City Council removed the Pow Wow Street Closure Request from the consent agenda for separate discussion and later approved an amended closure for the event.
At the start of the meeting Council member Bryan Bargen moved, and Council member Jeff Jack seconded, to remove the Pow Wow Street Closure Request from the consent agenda for further discussion. Later in the meeting the council considered the request and approved the amended closure of 3rd Avenue between 9th Street and 10th Street for June 22–23, 2026, limiting closure hours to 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The approval was moved by Council member Andrew Ysker and seconded by Jeff Jack; the motion carried, 4–0. The consent agenda as recorded also included approval of a Pow Wow raffle resolution.
