Commissioners approved routine and administrative business June 17, including vendor payments, permits, renewals and board appointments.
Deputy clerks presented accounts payable and payroll; the commission approved the vouchers after a motion. Road and Bridge staff presented and received approval for a right-of-way permit for Lane 36 ½ and described recently completed work such as a bus and truck turnaround on Road 4. The commission extended Pryor Mountain Engineering’s contract for two years. The commission approved a DEQ use permit for the North Landfill and accepted a Greybull Dispatch Agreement. Commissioners also approved a Save Streets 4 All (SS4A) proposal and letter of support. In governance business the commission appointed Cari Waterworth and Bryan Baird and reappointed L. Sorenson to the library board and approved a commissioner renewal scholarship for K. Craft.
Why it matters: these routine approvals maintain county operations, enable infrastructure work and staffing, and fill local board vacancies.
What’s next: staff will process payments and execute approved permits, contracts and appointments.
