At the Oct. 21, 2024 meeting, Township Manager Edward Wagner summarized proposed amendments to Chapter 215 (the SALDO landscaping definitions and regulations), noting the principal change is an updated plant list recommended following county guidance. The Planning Commission voted unanimously (3‑0) to recommend Ordinance 371 to the Board of Commissioners for consideration at its Nov. 21 meeting.
Michael S. Levering moved to recommend approval; Scott Fulmer seconded the motion and the commission voted 3‑0 in favor. Wagner told commissioners that the county had continued to make changes since the commission’s July review and that this draft incorporates the updated plant list. There were no public comments recorded on this item during the meeting.
