The adviser (identified in the meeting as Miss Na, a seventh‑grade English teacher) and student presenters described leadership takeaways including responsibility, public speaking and listening to peers. Board members praised the growth of the elementary instrumental program (now 40 fourth‑grade students) and noted how that pipeline supports middle‑ and high‑school music programs.
The board offered brief praise to the students and asked about next steps for applying conference lessons across grade levels.
