The consultant has begun collecting visual assets: drone footage over the high school and Broadbrook roofs showing blistered roofing areas and a district photographer and videographer are scheduled to document additional problem areas. Committee members said the first video will focus on physical infrastructure needs and a second will incorporate students and staff stories.
Board members said they appreciated the consultant's responsiveness and emphasized the need for joint messaging with town leaders, noting that coordinated outreach will be important if the district moves toward a referendum. The board asked that materials be made available in advance at the Feb. 4 meeting and for continued coordination with the board of selectmen to ensure consistent messaging and appropriate meeting postings.
No vote was taken; the board accepted the ad hoc committee’s timeline and asked staff to continue preparing materials and a public meeting schedule.
