Board refines outreach materials and will show revised renderings at middle‑school concert

East Windsor — Board members pressed staff on Wednesday to make community outreach materials for the proposed new campus visually clearer, agreeing to revise the trifold and to display larger printed renderings at a middle‑school concert next month.

The board reviewed a draft trifold that used two separate renderings provided by GWWO and several members said the current layout made the design look like a single building. Members repeatedly recommended reverting to the earlier angled rendering that clearly showed both buildings and adding the phrase “two schools, one campus” to emphasize the campus arrangement. Jess, who is coordinating the outreach materials, said she would update the artwork and email revisions to the board.

The board also discussed logistics for the outreach presence at the middle‑school concert. Members debated whether to set up a table for parents as they arrive or to give a brief 5–10 minute presentation in the auditorium before the concert begins. The group agreed to clarify timing (aimed at the 6:00–6:10 p.m. window before the 6:30 start), to prepare both a small trifold for handouts and larger prints for display, and to have staffing for the table. Jess offered to produce large prints and circulate the final trifold once she incorporates the requested changes.

Board members emphasized keeping the messaging parent‑friendly and clear so concert attendees understand the distinction between the middle and high school spaces and the shared campus elements, such as central cafeteria and library areas.
