The Broadbrook recipient, Lauren Sanderson, who runs the PAUSE restorative program and serves as an MTSS liaison, was unable to attend; the board read a nomination noting her leadership and restorative practice training. Middle‑school honoree Jillian (Miss Ellison) was recognized for work in the discovery program, coaching track and cross‑country and running mindfulness sessions; high‑school nominee Lori O'Conor was praised for building the Rebound intervention room, supervising study hall, supporting graduation logistics and contributing to school communications and events.
Dave Moer noted his long partnership with the district, saying he looks forward to continuing it. The board offered congratulations and invited attendees to remain for the remainder of the meeting.
