Mayor Charles H. Rehm called the first reading of three ordinances at the Jan. 12 meeting. Bill No. 26-01, which would approve a conditional use and authorize a conditional use permit for an accessory driveway gate at 1377 S. Mason Road in the Estate zoning district, was the subject of an opened public hearing. The City Clerk entered published notice and other exhibits into the record; Mayor Rehm noted the application had received a variance from the Board of Adjustment and that the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval by a 7–1 vote. The hearing was closed with no public testimony recorded during the hearing segment.
Bill No. 26-02 concerns acceptance of a bid and authorization of an agreement with T. Hill Construction for the Westmoor Place stormwater project and authorizes a reimbursement agreement with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. Bill No. 26-03 would authorize an engineering services agreement with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for Bopp Road resurfacing and pedestrian improvements. All three bills were read for the first time by title only and were continued to the Jan. 26, 2026 meeting for second reading and consideration.
