Clerk‑Treasurer Alana Paumen reported on audit preparations, levy certification and upcoming election logistics at the Oct. 1 Silver Creek Township Board meeting.
Paumen said preliminary audit information has been uploaded to the caseware portal and a box of supporting documents was given to the township's CPA; field audit work is scheduled for Nov. 12–15. She reported that proposed levy certification forms were submitted reflecting a 3% increase for both township funds, consistent with the annual meeting approval.
On elections, Paumen said election judges have been scheduled, including five new judges; equipment pickup and testing were described as imminent. The board also received the August recycling report and a notice from Centerpoint Energy about a rate increase. No formal votes were recorded on the reports; the clerk presented them as informational items.
