Tabernacle Township Board selects officers, adopts ethics code and confirms administrative designations at reorganization meeting

The Tabernacle Township Board of Education convened its annual reorganization meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2026, at the Kenneth R. Olson Middle School Media Center. Business Administrator and Board Secretary Patricia Palmieri opened the meeting and read the required public-notice statement under N.J.S.A. 10:4-6.

Election results from the Nov. 4, 2025 school election were recorded and oaths of office were administered to Sara Eisenhuth, Krystyn Foran, Craig Kumpel, Theodore Williams and Christina Wolfrom. The roll call in the minutes lists nine members present for the meeting.

The Board elected Steven Mosser as President after a nomination by Dr. Kevin McCloy and second by Greg Casterioto; Christina Wolfrom was elected Vice President following a nomination by Tracy Betts and a second by Mr. Casterioto. The minutes record unanimous board approval for both officer elections.

The Board adopted the New Jersey School Boards Association Code of Ethics as its official code and scheduled the required Board of Ethics training for Feb. 17, 2026. The resolution cites N.J.A.C. 6:3-1.3 and N.J.A.C. 6A:30 as the applicable training requirements.

Administrative and routine business carried unanimous votes: the Central Record (if possible) and the Burlington County Times were designated as the district’s official newspapers; existing board bylaws, policies and regulations were readopted; Fulton Bank/NJ ARM was affirmed as the depository for school funds; the district curriculum for 2025–2026 was approved; and Patricia Palmieri was designated Public Agency Compliance Officer and Qualified Purchasing Agent for the 2025–2026 school year.

The Board reviewed goals and norms and scheduled additional review for the Jan. 20 meeting. Committee assignments and liaison appointments were made for standing committees (Education/Technology; Human Resources; Operations; Policy) and external delegations to the New Jersey School Boards Association and the Burlington County School Boards Association.

Public comment was noted: Col. Henske addressed the newly seated board during the meeting’s public comment portion; the minutes do not record the content of that comment. The meeting adjourned at 7:37 p.m. on a motion by Tracy Betts, seconded by Dr. Kevin McCloy, with the minutes recording a 9–0–0 vote in favor.
