The Reinbeck City Council approved the consent agenda at its April 20 special budget hearing, authorizing bills to be paid totaling $97,800.99.
Council member Dale Wambold moved to approve the consent agenda; Council member Johnson seconded. The motion passed 4–0. The approved consent agenda included minutes from April 6, 2026 meetings and the bills list shown in the minutes.
Notable payments listed in the minutes included $59,568.76 to Homefront Builders for the library phase 1 remodel, $17,759.87 to Alliant Energy for city utilities, and other fund disbursements across General, Road Use, Water, Sewer and other funds. The minutes also present a fund-level breakout showing $17,006.79 charged to the general fund, $6,513.78 to the water fund and $8,285.53 to the sewer fund, among others.
The council’s vote on the consent agenda was procedural and did not represent a separate discussion of the individual claims; the minutes reflect the payment authorization as part of routine city business.
