Ridgetop approves paving and mowing contracts; train museum volunteers recognized

Separately, the board awarded a paving contract to Rogers Group in the amount of $198,300 to pave Lake Road from Hwy 41 at Lake Road to Liebengood Road; that motion was also made by Vice Mayor Harrison, seconded by Alderman Gregory and approved unanimously.
Mayor Tim Shaw recognized the Ridgetop Train Museum as a community asset and said Mr. Ken Parson donated personalized charcuterie boards to honor volunteers Tony Reasoner, Maruth Hall, McCaw Johnson and Mark Johnson for their work establishing the museum. City Recorder Kelly Rider read the inscription on the boards as: "in appreciation for your contribution of time and talents in creation of the Ridgetop Train Museum December 2023." The board also scheduled a city workshop for May 20, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.
