Councilman Brian Palliser presented a lakes restoration proposal at the Sept. 9 workshop and said Council will vote on the project at the upcoming Town Meeting. Palliser reminded Council that the Town is required to maintain a five-foot perimeter around the lakes and discussed a potential bathymetry study to assess lake depth and conditions; the quoted cost for that study is $3,200.
No action was taken at the workshop; Palliser will present the proposal for formal consideration at the Town Meeting. Staff and affected residents were reminded of the perimeter maintenance requirement.
