Mayor Dave Buonviri said the Town of Briarcliffe Acres will decide at its upcoming Town Meeting whether to hire Civic Plus to perform a legal review and codify the town's ordinances as a whole. The Civic Plus review would consolidate ordinances rather than requiring the Town to amend each ordinance individually.
Council discussed advantages and reviewed an example provided by Civic Plus. No vote was taken at the workshop; Buonviri said the matter will be placed on the Town Meeting agenda for a formal decision. Town Clerk Jennifer Newbold will include the item on the meeting docket and handle related communications.
